Animal Description:

The white-tailed deer, also known commonly as the whitetail and the Virginia deer, is a medium-sized species of deer native to North America, Central America, and South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia, where it predominately inhabits high mountain terrains of the Andes. White-tailed deer are large mammals weigh 110 to 300 lbs and have ears that are considerably smaller than Mule Deer ears.

Albino deer are extremely rare, affecting less than 1 in 20,000 white-tailed deer.

Albino deer are solid white and lack all body pigment.Their pink eyes and nose are caused by blood vessels showing through their skin and clear lens. Albinism is a recessive genetic trait, meaning both parents must carry the gene to have albino offspring
